The Comedy Zone Augusta

Somewhere in Augusta Bar and Grille is the Augusta area's only comedy club and is part of The Comedy Zone, the largest comedy club network in America. Somewhere is able to choose from more than 3,000 comedians to being the best entertainment possible to Augusta each week.

Many of the comics performing at Somewhere in Augusta have been seen on The Tonight Show, The Late Show with David Letterman, HBO, Showtime and Comedy Central. Somewhere offers an intimate setting where you can enjoy the funniest entertainers, live and up close, the way stand-up comedy was intended.

Reservations are encouraged for all of our shows. You can make reservations for any show by calling our reservation line at 706-739-0002. Reservations are held and guaranteed until 15 minutes before show time, unless you’ve paid in advance for Reserved Seating, which is held throughout the show. If you would like to pay in advance for Reserved Seating, call 706-739-0002 with your payment information.

General Admission seats are first come, first served on available seating at the door, so come early. Please don’t be any later than 15 minutes before show time because that’s when we start releasing unclaimed seats if we’re sold out.

There are no refunds for pre-paid reservations. Tickets may be exchanged for a future show of equal or lesser value, depending on availability. Call 706-739-0002 to request an exchange no later than 5:00 p.m. on the day of the original show. There is no refund or exchange for missed reservations.

You should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to showtime to claim your reservation. At 15 minutes before showtime, all reservations that are NOT pre-paid are canceled, and you are no longer guaranteed seating. Please be seated by 7:30 p.m. for the 8 p.m. show.

Payment is accepted over the phone with a credit card or at the door in the form of cash or a credit card (Visa, Mastercard American Express and Discover) Sorry, we do not accept checks.

Special Events

Dress code

We want all our guests to be comfortable, so casual attire is the order of the day. So come as you like but please wear shoes!

Manners, Hecklers and Obnoxious Behavior

We are in the business of providing a good time for all our guests, so please keep all unnecessary table conversation to a minimum once the show has started. And heckling, quite frankly, is a no-no. Our guests pay good money to see and hear professional comedians, not other guests. So please ... eat, drink, be merry and LAUGH!


Everyone must be 18 or older with a valid ID to enter. Acceptable forms of valid ID are state-issued driver's licenses or IDs, military IDs or passports. No other forms of identification will be accepted.

Somewhere in Augusta has a full service bar loaded with premium and top shelf liquors, imported, domestic and craft beers and a wide selection of wine. We also offer amazing appetizers, a full dinner menu featuring barbecue pork and chicken slow-cooked over real Georgia peach wood and seasoned with John Boy & Billy Sauces.Somewhere in Augusta is more than just Augusta's No. 1 Sports Bar with the coldest beer in town and a great place for lunch and dinner, it is also home of The Comedy Zone every Wednesday night. The Comedy Zone features two of the funniest comedians touring the respected Comedy Zone circuit in the Southeastern United States.

The Comedy Zone has grown from its humble beginnings to become the largest comedy club network in America.More than 3,000 comedians appeared at the 100-plus venues last year. 

With such a wide variety of comedians to choose from, the humor varies from week to week and because it can be adult in nature at times, you must be 18 to enter. The cover charge is only $8 and the seats fill quickly for the 8 p.m. show, so we ask that you be seated and ready for the show by 7:30.
