Michael Mack

Michael Mack’s songs and song parodies have played on radio stations across the country including “The Bob and Tom Show” and “XM Radio”. He has twice appeared on ABC’s “Americas Funniest People”. He brilliantly uses music, light, impressions, and parodies to produce a show starting in fun and ending with the crowd coming out of their seats in amazement.

Mia Jackson

Mia Jackson, a native of Columbus, Georgia and a self proclaimed know it all, wondered what would happen if she took her sense of humor to the stage. That’s exactly what she did! After graduating from the University of Georgia she hit the local comedy scene and has thrilled audiences since day one.

To her credit she has appeared on Oxygen’s Girls Behaving Badly and TLC’s Wild Weddings. She was also a writer on BET/Centric’s re-launch of the Soul Train Awards in 2009 and 2010.   In 2012, Mia was a finalist in the Laughing Skull Festival.  She recently taped a spot on NickMom's Night Out.

Mia is a diverse comedienne with a different voice and perspective.  Her energetic conversational style leaves the audience feeling refreshed and as if they have known her forever.  Smart, funny, and versatile, Mia entertains all types of crowds.

Pauly Shore

Stand-up comic, actor, writer, director Pauly Shore tasted super-stardom in 1990 when his precedent-setting MTV show "Totally Pauly" hit the airwaves to major fan approval. The show ran for six years, leading him to television and film roles. In 1993, he wrote and starred in a one-hour HBO television special, Pauly Does Dallas, which drew in even more loyal fans.

He had roles in films from 1988, providing supporting comedy relief, but it was the wildly popular Encino Man (1992), partnered with Sean Astin and Brendan Fraser, that put Pauly on the map. Films followed, including Son in Law (1993), In the Army Now (1994), Jury Duty (1995), Bio-Dome (1996) and The Curse of Inferno (1997). He provided voices in animated features such as Casper: A Spirited Beginning (1997) and The Goofy Movie Franchise (1995/2000).

His first album, "The Future of America," was named Best Comedy Album by the college music journalists in 1991, while the National Association of Record Merchandisers nominated his second album, "Scraps from the Future," for a Best Sellers Award.

Pauly has made several appearances in recent years as a recurring guest on Howard Stern's late-night show, as well as David Letterman's talk show. He tours the country with his stand-up comedy act.

In 2003, Shore produced, wrote, directed and starred in Pauly Shore Is Dead, a semi-autobiographical mockumentary, and in 2005 starred in the reality television series Minding the Store. His production company, Landing Patch Productions, has produced multiple films and specials: Natural Born Komics (2007), Adopted (2009), Vegas Is My Oyster (2011), and Pauly~tics (2012).

Currently, Pauly is working on Pauly Shore Stands Alone, a true-life road documentary that follows him as he performs in obscure towns throughout Wisconsin while dealing with his personal life back home. Pauly is also debuting a podcast series later this year: Pauly Shore’s Interested. In it, he interviews Arsenio Hall, Chris Rock, Whitney Cummings, Former RNC Chair Michael Steele, Dodger’s pitcher Brian Wilson, and many many more.

Must be seated by 7:30 p.m. This is adult comedy at times. Must be 18 to enter. The Comedy Zone has grown from its humble beginnings to become the largest comedy club network in America. A new act every week!

Larry XL

If there's a club, hall, bar or basement that need jokes, Larry XL is ready to rock the house. Larry XL's smart and sometimes wacky style has made him a favorite with audiences from Florida to Canada. He's been a finalist in comedy competitions in his native Baltimore and neighboring cities like Washington, DC and Philadelphia. Soon after he started performing at area clubs, Larry XL recorded a concert CD with the DC Standup All-Stars, 2004's DC Standup vs. Earth and later his own live CD, 2005's The City That Bleeds. He then hit the road performing in some of the nation's best comedy clubs (and anywhere else with electricity) opening for the likes of Bobby Slayton, Jim Florentine and Charlie Murphy. He has also been heard on XM Satellite Radio and Baltimore's 98 Rock.

Mary Asher

Adopted at 3 days old into a skinny family this chubby little girl developed a sense of humor at a very early age. It would serve her well as she ventured out into the world.

She grew up an Army Brat which took her from Alaska to Maryland and many places in between. This gave her an opportunity to see the world from many different perspectives and helped her to never meet a stranger. As a child constantly transferring from school to school
she soon found out that if she made her class mates laugh then she would be accepted as one of them. The perpetual class clown throughout school got her nominated in her senior year as, "Never To Be Forgotten".

Prior to going pro, people at the office would gather around her instead of the water cooler, and socially she was always the life of the party. Little did she know this would serve as the beginnings of a comic in training.

Her comedy debut came in 1993 at a talent show for a company picnic. With over 700 hundred people in the audience, she nearly passed out from the fear and excitement.  She plowed through her five minute skit in just over 50 seconds.  Even though she had
rushed through her material like an auctioneer who needs to go to the restroom - the experience planted the comedy bug in her in a BIG way. She'd been told for most of her life that she should be a comic, however coming from a blue collar family, it never occurred to
her that it might lead to a new profession. She appeared on Comedy Centrals Roast of Flavor Flav, and has performed at major clubs, professional conferences, colleges and for the troops .

A few years ago she got on the scales and realized she was about three bacon cheeseburgers shy of being a perfect circle. Right then and there she decided to take charge of her life and within two years had lost over 200 pounds - this just after having recently ending
a 33 year love affair with nicotine. Needless to say, after all this - she would need a new headshot.

Must be seated by 7:30 p.m. This is adult comedy at times. Must be 18 to enter. The Comedy Zone has grown from its humble beginnings to become the largest comedy club network in America. A new act every week!

Mike Speenberg

Conceived in the back of a '69 Firebird and raised on hush puppies and fried bologna,
comic Mike Speenberg has taken his own unique brand of generational comedy all over the
country, sharing the stage with other comedic greats like Mitch Hedberg, Lewis Black,
Dave Attell, and Bob Saget.

Fueled by stories of home and family, love of country, and being drunk in public, Speenberg's comedy hits home with everyone of us who have lived through
crazy step-parents, above ground pool parties, and square pizza with canned corn.

In the past 15 years Comedian Mike Speenberg has performed on four different continents and shared the stage with everyone from Robin Williams to Ron White. He's entertained everyone from US Diplomats to professional athletes and been featured on everything from CNN to HBO's Comedy Festival. Mike is also available for any size company, group, or organization in need of a CLEVER, and THOUGHT PROVOKING entertainer for every kind of function.

Mike has also recently become ordained online at the Universal Life Church so, he can host your wedding or bury your cat.

Brent Blakeney

A product of the 80's and made in the USA, Brent has been in comedy most of his life. His first comedic performance occurred when he was three years old. He took the stage at an Elk's Lodge in Glen Burnie, Maryland, with no prompt or invitation, said nothing, and just began to pee his pants. Over the years the peeing tapered off, but the desire to entertain still remained.

His real stand-up career started in May of 2011, when on a dare from his friend, he took the stage at the Comedy Zone in Lynchburg, VA. Armed with nothing but a few stories and a joke about having an erection on a roller coaster, he braved the open mic. The reception was mediocre, as to be expected, but the club owner saw the potential, gave him a few notes, and invited him back. After making the necessary corrections, the second time at bat was much more successful. From then on it has been a constant experiment in the ability of joke writing, learning how to work the crowd, and coming to terms with the fact that his Masters degree in Theology and Philosophy probably isn't going to get him anywhere in life.

Hard work has paid off with Brent having the opportunity to work with, and learn from, some of the best in the business. Brent has worked with stars such as Bobby Lee  (Mad TV), Kevin Heffernan, and Steve Lemme (Super Troopers/ Beerfest) , as well as legendary comedians Al Goodwin, Don "DC" Curry, Bill Burr, Josh Blue, and Brian Regan.

A previous winner of Richmond, VA's "Clash of the Comics", and a finalist in "Carolina's Funniest Comic", Brent presents a "larger than life" experience at all of his shows.

Roots and Soul singer/songwriter/guitarist Brandon Reeves has spent most of his time and energy performing 150 to 200 dates a year since 2008. Brandon's music is a cross between the guitar playing of John Hurt, the songwriting wit of John Prine and the soulful vocals of Sam Cooke. He has also shared the stage with Tab Benoit, Mark Rivera of Hall and Oates band and Ringo Starr's All Star Band, and members of the Zac Brown Band. Tom Wardman of Red Label Reviews said of his latest release, A Decent Melody, "His album offers so many different musical genres within the album itself, but also within independent tunes. It's Bluesy. It's groovy, It's Rocky. It's quite frankly awesome – I have no words to describe it! For that reason, you should check out his work yourself!"
