Adult comedy at times. Must be 18 to enter. The Comedy Zone has grown from its humble beginnings to become the largest comedy club network in America. New acts every week.

Tim Kidd

Pack up the babies, Grab the old ladies, Everyone  goes ... ...because from Louisville, Kentucky comes the charming hooligan, Tim Kidd.

Easily described as a monkey with ADHD, who needs his Ritalin, a nonconformist through most of his youth, Tim's tumultuous relationship with authority developed early on. Tim's childlike exuberance and high octane fueled stage presence delivers a fast paced record of his life from an exceptionally funny point of view.

A crowd favorite that is as unpredictable, as he is  hilarious. Always on the edge but never vulgar. A powerhouse on stage with his quick wit, edgy material, and a unique outlook on life that makes every show feel like a rock concert!

Now comedy's best kept secret intends to flood the world with his upbeat, twisted brand of hilarity! Tim Kidd is the embodiment of everyone's imaginary friend, except this time he's all grown-up.

Brian Thomas

Are you a fat, bald guy that still lives with his parents and grandmother? If you answered yes, you probably have too much in common with Brian Thomas, and instead of laughing, you may end up crying if you watch him. If you answered no than you should have an awesome time laughing at Brian as he performs material that guarantees he will not get laid after the show...

Comedy Zone Live Comedy Wednesday, December 10
Comedy Zone Live Comedy
Kevin Lee and Ben Jones

Augusta's only live comedy! This is adult comedy at times. Must be 18 to enter. The Comedy Zone has grown from its humble beginnings to become the largest comedy club network in America. A new act every week!

Kevin Lee

If ever there was a comedian/ magician to be seen, it is Kevin Lee. Kevin's unique combination of comedy, magic and juggling leaves audiences both in awe and in stitches. Lee, has appeared on all of the national television stations on shows such as "Showtime at the Apollo", HBO's "Def Comedy Jam", and Jamie Foxx's "Uptown Comedy Club", to name a few. Lee was also voted "Washington DC's Funniest Comedian" by Washingtonian Magazine.

Audiences are wowed by Kevin's amazing juggling, fire and sword-swallowing comedy.

Kevin's stage career began at The Comedy Cafe in Washington DC where he placed first in the very first comedy competition he ever entered. After a quick stint as a Street Entertainer in DC, Lee moved to Venice Beach, CA, the Mecca of street performers.  It was there that Kevin honed his craft, building his repertoire of comedy, magic and juggling to audiences of all ages and walks of life. While in California, Lee became a regular at the world's famous Comedy Store.

Lee has also been seen on five seasons of BET's "Comic View" and his distinctive skills have allowed him to share the stage with legends such as Gladys Knight, Chris Rock, Steve Harvey, Whitney Houston, Chris Tucker and Sinbad. He performed for the troops in Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm and continues to entertain military bases around the world today, including Korea, Germany, Italy and Japan. Wynton Marsalis featured Lee in his "The Magic Hour Tour" which sold out from New York to Los Angeles in 2004. Lee, a high-energy, one-of-a-kind performer has brought audiences to their feet worldwide. A rare and true talent, Kevin Lee is not to be missed...

Ben Jones

Ben Jones is one of the fastest rising comics on the road today. After burning his cream sauce one too many times Ben dropped out of Culinary school to pursue his passion of entertaining others, feeling much more at home cooking up laughs than pork loin. This self proclaimed slacker bet everything on a career in stand-up and fortunately the gamble paid off. Touring relentlessly across the country he brings a level of likeability that is matched by very few. He combines well written material and a dark sense of humor with a charisma that allows him to get away with almost anything. Using his own life experiences to make silly observations and odd scenarios, audiences laugh hysterically from the time this giant teddy bear hits the stage until he says goodnight. He's built a first-rate name for himself in the comedy business by working some of the top clubs in the country (and a few at the bottom) sharing the stage with great comics such as Bob Saget, Rob Schneider, Maria Bamford, Jon Reep, Adam Devine, Dov Davidoff and SNL's Jay Pharoah. Come see Ben and be a part of this memorable, fun and above all hilarious comedy experience. Ben Jones is not to be missed.

Ken Evans

James Sibley

Bringing a boy-next-door persona to the stage, Ken has an observational style of comedy that relates to every audience member.  His energy is electric and his act is very visual, bringing his comedy to life with his command of the stage.  The Orlando Sentinel said “Ken Evans’ biting wit is like viewing life through broken glass…”

Evans has appeared on NBC’s “Ed”, Caroline’s Comedy Hour, and Last Comic Standing.  He’s been a studio guest of the Bob and Tom show and the Bob and Sherry national radio show.  He’s opened for and worked with some of the biggest names in entertainment such as:

  • Joan Rivers
  • Tim Allen
  • Ellen DeGeneres
  • Larry the Cable Guy
  • Ron White
  • Weird Al Yankovich
  • Rosie O’Donnell
  • Drew Carey
  • Paula Poundstone
  • Jim Brewer
  • Darrell Hammond
  • Richard Jeni
  • Billy Gardell
  • Joan Jet
  • Bruce Hornsby and the Range
  • Eddy Money

Roy Haber

Matthew David Stanley

Born In Israel, Roy had your average beginning. Then, as if the confusion of his roots wouldn’t eventually turn this little fella into a skewed man, his parents pulled a mean trick ... deciding to raise him in Kentucky.

Pursuing the profession of Stand-up Comedy was only inevitable.

Whether it’s making fun of his height (5’2), tackling personal issues, slamming an analytical magnifying glass on world events and society in general, or sharing a story from his travels – Roy’s comedy is live, direct, and playfully honest.

Fan’s rave of his wit, and all who have seen him appreciate his will to speak his mind. Though he often leads his audience to the very edge, he shows great tact in realizing where it is and attempts to tread past the threshold only when necessary and never for the cheap, yet often sought-after “shock value” laugh. His set material focuses on self-deprecation, hypocrisy in politics (is that redundant?), double standards in culture, and his ability for story telling of topics that all audience members can enjoy. Not only will Roy’s show have you doubled over with laughter, but it will also undoubtedly move you to thought and reason. No, really…

Roy has performed throughout the USA, Canada, and for the United States troops, both abroad and on U.S. soil. He’s shared the stage with the likes of Jim Breuer, Tommy Davidson, Don Rickles, Kevin Nealon, Tom Arnold, Tim Wilson and many more. He was also a semi finalist in the prestigious International San Francisco Comedy Competition (past competitors include: Robin Williams, Ellen DeGeneres, Sinbad and Dana Carvey, to name a few). In addition, he received numerous awards at the IMTA Nationals in Los Angeles, including 2nd runner-up, “Actor Of The Year.”  So, come on out to the show, warm up your face muscles, and prepare your tear ducts for an evening of hilarity. You’ll be sure to have BIG fun with this little dude!

QUOTES:

“Roy loves being the center of attention and will do any kind of silly thing to make the other children laugh. He is so capable – I hope this silliness does not continue. It would interfere with his progress in the 1st grade. I hope Roy has matured enough this year to control his behavior. He needs to learn that there are times when it is o.k. to be a clown, but school is not one of those times.”
– Mrs. Goodman (Roy’s Kindergarten teacher)

“This man is hilarious!”
-Tony Orlando

“He gets funnier and more twisted each time I see him. I truly mean that.”
-Derek Richards, Comedian

“Roy Haber uses his stand-up to break down political, religious and social barriers… to help himself and others through tough times.”
-Kentucky Kernel

“He walks the tip of the political edge with the balance of a mountain goat.”
-Peter Sasso, Comedian and Cruise Ship Entertainer of the year

“If life is analogous to a journey through the forest – and the masses tout “success” as being focused enough to find your way out… then Roy Haber is proudly one of the lost.”
– Doug Lidster

“I ruptured one of my testicles at a Roy Haber show… Second joke.”
-Unknown

A few years back, The Hollerers began as a group of friends rocking out in a breakfast room. Weekly sessions began producing original tunes and ideas, as well as lots of jamming on classic cover tunes. The band performed a few shows under various names, but in 2011 The Hollerers were formed under the current lineup. Dave Morgan (Vocals, Harmonicas), Scott Guinn (Guitars, Bass), John Stewart (Guitars, Bass), and David Perper (Drums) can be found playing original and classic rock, blues and R&B throughout the CSRA. The band have recently released two discs of original material, White Dog and Black Dog. Their music can be found on CD Baby, ITunes, and Amazon and at their website: hollerers.com
