Grandma Lee

Known as “America’s funniest and outrageous grandmother,” Grandma Lee shot to stardom on the NBC talent show America’s Got Talent where she made it through to the grand finale.

She was a contestant in the 2004 season of Last Comic Standing on NBC, where she later returned for three seasons as a special guest and was chosen as a Top 10 Favorite Comic of the program.

Grandma Lee won the 2003 Las Vegas Comedy Festival at MGM Grand and appeared in America’s Got Talent Live at Planet Hollywood, hosted by Jerry Springer.

Grandma Lee will electrify the stage from the moment she bursts from the starting gate until she crosses the finish line in a blaze of glory. This sassy senior has mastered the art of entertaining audiences of all ages with unorthodox views of family, television and life in general. She may shock you with colorful use of the English language although few find it offensive.

Jeff Zenisek

Jeff Zenisek is a 28 year old giant man-boy. Jeff currently lives at home with his parents and plays with Nerf guns in the house when they go out of town. He also has really good hair. Winner of Comedy Zone Tallahassee Open Mic Contest, Winner of Inaugural Laff 4 Less Friday Comedy Contest. Jeff started doing comedy in November of 2009 at The Comedy Zone in Jacksonville, Florida.

Tim Pulnik

Phil Hogan

It didn’t take long for Tim to gain recognition with his animated and physical style of comedy. He became part of one of New York City’s funniest sketch comedy groups, for which he wrote and performed a new show weekly for over three years. Finding his niche in animated physical comedy, Tim took his act on the road performing in comedy clubs from Coast to Coast.

Described as the "everyman" of comedy, Tim easily connects with audiences of all kind through his on-stage antics mixed with high-energy and quick wit making him a favorite and repeat act at clubs all over the country.

Tim's unique performing/writing style has given him an edge that's been recognized by ABC, HBO, and Showtime as well as magazines and New York's Metro Channel. He also has been showcased at the BOSTON COMEDY FESTIVAL as well as a finalist at the LAS VEGAS COMEDY FESTIVAL. And can be heard on XM Radio.

On screen he has worked in independent films such as LOST & FOUND, CLEAN and CAMPAIGNER.

Funny, just funny…

Mary Asher

Adopted at 3 days old into a skinny family this chubby little girl developed a sense of humor at a very early age. It would serve her well as she ventured out into the world.

She grew up an Army Brat which took her from Alaska to Maryland and many places in between. This gave her an opportunity to see the world from many different perspectives and helped her to never meet a stranger. As a child constantly transferring from school to school she soon found out that if she made her class mates laugh then she would be accepted as one of them. The perpetual class clown throughout school got her nominated in her senior year as, “Never To Be Forgotten”.

Prior to going pro, people at the office would gather around her instead of the water cooler, and socially she was always the life of the party. Little did she know this would serve as the beginnings of a comic in training.

Her comedy debut came in 1993 at a talent show for a company picnic. With over 700 hundred people in the audience, she nearly passed out from the fear and excitement.  She plowed through her five minute skit in just over 50 seconds.  Even though she had rushed through her material like an auctioneer who needs to go to the restroom – the experience planted the comedy bug in her in a BIG way. She’d been told for most of her life that she should be a comic, however coming from a blue collar family, it never occurred to her that it might lead to a new profession. She appeared on Comedy Centrals Roast of Flavor Flav, and has performed at major clubs, professional conferences, colleges and for the troops .

A few years ago she got on the scales and realized she was about three bacon cheeseburgers shy of being perfect circle. Right then and there she decided to take charge of her life and within two years had lost over 200 pounds – this just after having recently ending a 33 year love affair with nicotine. Needless to say, after all this – she would need a new headshot.

In over a decade and a half, she has opened for such greats as Ben Frank, Anita Job, Bill Ewe and Shirley Goode.

Darren DS Sanders

Darren DS Sanders

Darren “DS” Sanders is one of the funniest comedians touring today; a must see show when he’s playing a venue near you! Darren is a dead on writer who turns life’s everyday simplicities into side splitting comedy routines.

DS is known as the man of many faces and his facial expressions are as descriptive as his words. Very interactive with his audiences, never be surprised if you or someone in your party becomes part of the show. But don’t worry, it’s always in good taste.

This comedy veteran is very diverse and is the right comic for any audience, having worked groups as broad as fifth graders to the Congressional Black Caucus. His style is upbeat and fast paced so be ready to go on a non-stop laugh ride.

Mr. Sanders travels regularly to military bases entertaining the troops. "Performing for our fighting men and women is one of my greatest sources of pride and I also feel it is my duty.".

He has worked many of the finest comedy clubs, along with some the largest universities and colleges in the country. He is also regularly works the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in Nassau Bahamas, which is one of the most popular vacation destinations in the world today. If you enjoy cruising the seven seas don’t be surprised if he’s the featured comic aboard your fun ship “DS is one of Carnival Cruise Line’s highest rated comedians. Darren has worked with many of the industry’s biggest names such as Chris Rock, James Gregory, Mike Epps, Monique, Rodney Carrington, Cedric the Entertainer, and Rickey Smiley and travels regularly with the Queen of Comedy SOMMORE.

David Beck

David is originally from a small town in Virginia. He now resides in Springfield, Missouri. (Thanks to marrying the woman with the loudest laugh in the comedy club one night) Originally starting out as an observational comedian, but now he has grown into a more versatile higher energy style which includes quick one liner’s. Silly often thought provoking sometimes edgy social commentary. Never one to leave himself out of the show, everything in his personal life is fair game, his upbringing, everything he cares about and things he doesn’t, and of course his experience with married life. Unlike a lot of comedians David chooses to stay positive about marriage, never attacking it or his wife in the process. David feels telling the truth about marriage is not negative, and men and women alike are entertained by his unique view of this relationship between the sexes.

The truth is one reoccurring theme in David’s comedy. He chooses not to make up wild scenarios or characters to find humor. This is a key aspect of his show, and feels people can relate better to him by letting people know who he really is, and how he sees the world around him. David does how ever have an off beat way of thinking, and it is easy to think his material is “made up” or embellished, but as the show goes on the audience quickly realizes his brain is just a little off, and that’s usually when he hears his one of his favorite compliments, “You’re not right!” One of his other favorite compliments is when people mention how clean his show is, with a lack of colorful language, or explicit material. This just expands his appeal to a wider range of audience. David is quick to point out that his show is not “G” rated but an adult show with some innuendo that doesn’t use vulgarity to get his point across.

If you were to ask David how funny he is, or how talented, he would just simply say “I can hold my own”. He believes his show and his accomplishments will speak for themselves and doesn’t need to tell everyone he meets how good he is. You will notice there is no reference in this bio to him being the “Next big thing”, or the like.

David has been blessed with the ability to entertain people across the country, and recently around the world, with a tour entertaining our military in Japan and S. Korea. Working some of the best comedy clubs including, The Ice House in Pasadena, CA. Numerous Improv’s, Funnybone’s, as well as other top rooms including, The Loony Bin’s, Joey’s comedy club, Cracker’s, The Comedy Showcase, and Jr’s Last Laugh, just to name a few.

Not limited to just comedy clubs, David has a resume full of radio and television appearances. He has been heard on Fox sports radio, and the nationally syndicated Todd and Tyler morning show. TV appearances include the Sprint: Comedy Time Network, and Night Shift. He as even ventured into the serious side of TV with roles in Discovery Channel programming such as, The Prosecutors, New Detectives, and The FBI Files.

Adult comedy at times. Must be 18 to enter. The Comedy Zone has grown from its humble beginnings to become the largest comedy club network in America. New acts every week.

Julie Scoggins

A former trucker, pooper scooper, and charm school graduate from Charlotte, North Carolina, Julie has been touring as a full time standup comedian for over 15 years. On the road approximately 36 weeks a year with one week a month set aside for "marriage preservation".

She loves riding her motorcycle to gigs and you'll frequently see her 2004 Harley Road King parked outside the club, theater, radio, or TV station.

Julie's regularly heard on XM/Sirius Blue Collar Radio, as well as many syndicated stations including the John Boy and Billy Show, and the Bob and Sheri Show, (Charlotte, NC), and the Bob and Tom Show (Indianapolis, IN).

A Southern girl with universal appeal, Julie's shows sell out from Florida to Oregon. Folks actually WANT to sit in the front row and have been known to return a second night, just so they can bring friends that haven't yet seen her.

"Phyllis Diller started comedy at 37 years old and so did I. She went on to have a fabulous career that lasted over 40 years. I hope to be just as fortunate. It's so awesome to be doing exactly what I feel like I'm meant to do!".

After living on a boat in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, Julie and her husband, Mark moved back to the states in 1997. It was time to make her next career move after being a sales rep for Frito-Lay. "I sold Doritos on an island where 50% of the people smoked pot! Talk about a market niche..."

While she and her husband were deciding their next career moves, they went to open mike nights at the Charlotte, NC Comedy Zone. "It was all guys and they were SO awful! Mark said I was funnier, so I gave it a try. I was immediately hooked and have been performing ever since!"

Gid Pool

At age 61, Gid Pool made the ambitious decision to embark upon a stand-up comedy career.
Just 6 years later, Gid's brand of clean, big laugh stand-up comedy has not only made him a highly sought after comedy entertainer, but has also attracted the attention of the Wall Street Journal"Your Life Calling" with Jane Pauley (featured on the TODAY Show) and the popular TV show Daytime.

Gid's comedy has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, and on both the NBC TV network and America On Line. His irreverent look what parents are doing wrong raising their kids, the challenges of trying to stay young, and what's wrong with the world, has made him a hit not only in comedy clubs, but country clubs, yacht clubs, and...an occasional redneck bar. He's not just another young comedian!

Ron Feingold

Ron Feingold has been on stage since age 10. He got his musical theatre start in high school portraying roles like Lazar Wolf in "Fiddler on the Roof," Moonface Martin in "Anything Goes," and Curly in the musical "Oklahoma!" Then, at age 17, he began his professional career performing in a melodrama theatre by the name of "Bob Young's Cabaret" located in beautiful Cascade, Colorado. Ron was on top of the world earning $150 a week performing in the show and doing what he loved most!

Ron then moved on to dinner theatre in the summers during his breaks from college at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. There was a distinct trend that he noticed over the years that all of his roles and jobs were mostly comical. So Ron decided to give Stand-up Comedy a try. A contest called the U.S. College Comedy Competition came to Colorado State and Ron signed up. For a first timer, he placed third and he's been hooked on laughs ever since!

While a performer in the dinner theatre, Ron was also working on his other passions. He earned his Private Pilot license at the age of 18. Graduating in the top 10% of his class from Colorado State University with a degree in Psychology, Ron received the academic honor of Phi Beta Kappa! In May of 1999, Ron received his Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling and spent a year as a Guidance Counselor while he worked on his second CD- "Solo Effort." He also loves water and snow skiing, writing poetry and music, and most of all performing his "Comedy A Cappella" show!

Now Ron has toured the entire United States and has performed in America's finest Comedy Clubs, Universities, and Theatres. After doing "straight" stand-up for 5 years, he decided to stir things up a little and bring his love for a cappella music to the comedy clubs. August 1st of 1995, at Tommy T's Comedy Club in San Ramon, California was opening night of the new show and audiences have been laughing and singing with Ron ever since!

Ron's first album was released in June of 1995 and was called One Man A Cappella Jam! Ron began work on his second album on December 30, 1999 with producer Glenn Longacre. Released on January 26, 2001, Solo Effort takes Ron's music to a different level. Using contemporary favorites and up-tempo classics to create an a cappella recording that is unique and fun to listen to. See the Solo Effort Page for more information on the new album!
Currently, Ron is a corporate and cruise ship entertainer residing in Florida and also performs at his favorite comedy clubs around the country. Check out the show because you won't see or hear anything like this anywhere!

John Charles

John Charles is an entertainer specializing in music and comedy. His uncanny ability to combine music, comedy, audience interaction and improv make him one of the most exciting and unique performers in the world!

John Charles has written and produced over forty songs for the Walt Disney Company as well as custom songs for many of the largest company's in the world.

John Charles was voted Solo Artist Of The Year for American Entertainment Magazine, as wells as being voted Orlando's Favorite Local Entertainer. John Charles is the most requested act for Disney Cruise Lines.
