G.R. Goodwin

G.R.Goodwin started performing stand-up comedy in Jan. of 2001 at his home club The Comedy Catch in Chattanooga, TN. Since moving to Atlanta in 2004 he has quickly become one of the hottest young comedians in the Southeast. G.R. who has worked as an emcee, feature, and a headliner has a comedy style that has been described as "Laid back... with a lot of energy." G.R. can give you a solid 45min to an hour of material that touches on everything from "being a comic" to "the root of all evil". His unique style has allowed him to work with comedians such as Etta Mae, Spanky Brown, Rich Vos, D.C. Curry, Faye Woodroff, Earth Quake, and Alonzo Bodden.

BRAD BRAKE

Originally from Montreal, Brad now makes his home in Seattle where he is an accomplished comedian and actor. Brad has performed at many colleges and universities both in Canada and the U.S. and has recently been seen on Comedy Central. An energetic powerhouse when it comes to standup comedy, his original style and go for broke enthusiasm makes his act one that is not to be missed.

CHRIS KILLIAN

Chris Killian would love to sit down with you, buy you a cup of coffee, and tell you about how he has twice been voted “Nashville’s Funniest Comic,” or how his Facebook page boasts over 1,000 fans. He’d relish in explaining to you how he has performed with lots of famous people, or how he has his own CD cleverly entitled demoGRAPHIC (Get it? It’s a play on words…) but Chris would never do that.Mainly because he is modest, but mostly because he doesn’t have enough money to buy everyone a cup of coffee, so he’s just going to let this bio do all the dirty work for him.

Either way, Chris grew up in a small town outside of Nashville, TN, and nothing came easy for him (unless you count that one girl). He was just a small guy with big dreams, but luckily for you, none of those dreams materialized and he decided to pursue stand-up comedy. Armed with a guitar, Chris’ humor has been described as “edgy and smart,” but that’s probably only because he likes wearing a sweater vest. Make no mistake though – Chris’ innocent and laid-back demeanor compounded with his aggressive hilarity consistently catches crowds off-guard. His comedic songs, which often use acoustic melodies to launch into an array of raunchy, satirical, and self-deprecating lyrics, have been met with much approval from Chris’ rapidly growing fan base. Plus, there’s a rumor going around that catching one of Chris’ shows automatically makes you cooler. Maybe it’s just a rumor, but what if it isn’t? Are you really willing to risk it?

Phil Hogan

Originally from North Carolina, Phil has been in the entertainment business for almost thirty years, spending his early days as a touring musician. In 1990 Phil first took to the stage as a professional comedian drawing on his years of experience in front of an audience. Now a veteran performer, Phil can read an audience like no one else, sensing their mood and giving them what they want. His show is a Southern flavored blend of stand-up, original comedy songs, guitar goofiness, and musical impressions. Phil is not your typical guitar act… he can actually play the guitar…no endless string of parodies here.

Whether you look for a clean show or something with a little more edge, Phil will make you laugh.

Phil is also the operator of The Comedy Cellar at Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort during the ski season. This gives him the unique perspective of comedy on both sides of the microphone.

Phil is now middle aged with a wife, a son and daughter, an ex-wife, and these days, a lot less hair.

CHAD MILLER

Realizing he couldn’t make a living in a Marching Band, Chad Miller started his comedy career in 1997. On a dare, he took the stage at an open-mic, where he got exactly two laughs. That was enough to keep him coming back for more. Not long after that, he started opening on a regular basis. He also has been involved in sketch comedy and theater. Chad is now touring the country, where his fast-paced, physical act is keeping audiences screaming for more. His material covers pro wrestling, marriage (sorry, ladies!), and characters created in his warped little mind. Mostly, it’s just Chad being Chad, and thankfully there’s only one of him. Chad has shared the stage with comedy greats such as Artie Lange, Doug Stanhope, and Jeff Altman. Not to mention George Clinton, Digital Underground, and Moby. His act is not to be missed!

RICH GUZZI

Rich Guzzi is all New York, all the time. With a brash swagger that controls the room, there is no mistaking his upbringing as soon as he opens his mouth.

More than just the class clown, Guzzi had a knack early on for soliciting laughter through his well-executed quips and anecdotes. It was this gift that would ultimately propel him to climb on stage and perform like he was shot out of a cannon and then hit the crowd with rapid-fire jokes as if they were loaded into a machine gun.

After a dozen years on stage and radio, Guzzi has mastered the art with style and substance – especially now, as he parlays his comic talents into a highly entertaining hypnosis show with maximum audience participation. These shows have it all… comedy, drama, characters, role-playing and self-awareness.

Never one to settle, Guzzi continues to expand his repertoire by appealing to the masses as a blue-collar self-help guy. Rich’s material is definitely real-life, and he considers himself a cross between Tony Robbins and Tony Soprano. This venue is a hybrid of his mesmerizing hypnosis, self-help and motivation delivered in his comedic form and almost daring you not to participate.

With a dance card this entertaining and varied, you don’t want to miss the Rich Guzzi show.
