As well, there is a bonus event called the Tournament of Champions. Each season, the winners from the Tavern Tournament of Champions move on to the National TOC (held once per year in Las Vegas) for their shot at a $10,000 main event seat. Click here for more details on the TOC.

It's Free, it's Fun and best of all you have a shot of winning millions of dollars at the World Series of Poker!

The Comedy Zone, Augusta's only comedy club, is the largest comedy club network in America. A new act every week! This is adult comedy at times. Must be 18 to enter.

Julie Scoggins

Julie ScogginsA former trucker, pooper scooper, and charm school graduate from Charlotte, North Carolina, Julie has been touring as a full time standup comedian for over 15 years. On the road approximately 36 weeks a year with one week a month set aside for "marriage preservation".

She loves riding her motorcycle to gigs and you'll frequently see her 2004 Harley Road King parked outside the club, theater, radio, or TV station.

Julie's regularly heard on XM/Sirius Blue Collar Radio, as well as many syndicated stations including the John Boy and Billy Show, and the Bob and Sheri Show, (Charlotte, NC), and the Bob and Tom Show (Indianapolis, IN).

A Southern girl with universal appeal, Julie's shows sell out from Florida to Oregon. Folks actually WANT to sit in the front row and have been known to return a second night, just so they can bring friends that haven't yet seen her.

"Phyllis Diller started comedy at 37 years old and so did I. She went on to have a fabulous career that lasted over 40 years. I hope to be just as fortunate. It's so awesome to be doing exactly what I feel like I'm meant to do!".

After living on a boat in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, Julie and her husband, Mark moved back to the states in 1997. It was time to make her next career move after being a sales rep for Frito-Lay. "I sold Doritos on an island where 50% of the people smoked pot! Talk about a market niche..."

While she and her husband were deciding their next career moves, they went to open mike nights at the Charlotte, NC Comedy Zone. "It was all guys and they were SO awful! Mark said I was funnier, so I gave it a try. I was immediately hooked and have been performing ever since!"

Ryan Van Genderen

Ryan Denisco"If I had to do it all over I would be Ryan Van Genderen" - Steve Martin

Ryan Van Genderen is patiently waiting to get famous so other people can write his bio but until then...

Ryan hails from Patterson, New Jersey.  He's been writing and performing comedy for almost 9 years.  Based out of Charlotte, NC he now tours the country as both a feature and headlining act delivering the funny ( Jesus really?) one city at a time.  His unorthodox style will sneak up on you with a laugh you never see coming (wait is that a good thing?). Voted "Class Clown" by his peers in 2000, Ryan has managed to make a career out of making people laugh. A true force on stage he mixes self-deprecation with a witty point of view on life... in fact he might just change yours.

In September 2013 he was selected as a finalist in the Comedy Central Up Next competition in Charlotte, NC.  Ryan has headlined at West Virginia University and featured at both the Hard Rock Casino in Cleveland as well as the Atlantis resort in Nassau, Bahamas.  He can do it all! ( ok rap it up)

He has opened for some of the best including Nikki Glaser, Neal Brennan, Jaime Kennedy, Keith Alberstadt, Mike Birbiglia, Charlie Murphy, Margaret Cho, Aries Spears, Natasha Leggero, Jon Lovitz,  and Bill Burr.
